with all your fashion flimsies

premeditated to make me silly

don’t make me the butt of all jokes

my reticent heart is allergic

to pretenses and not used

to utter thoughtlessness



just please let me be

i wanna be in a gentleman’s embrace

where flying is an opportunity and

love is a clothe for my veiled insanity
