ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE STORY OF MY LIFE I WORKED PLACES WHERE I CROSSED PATHS WITH LOTS OF FAMOUS PEOPLE...SOME I RECOGNIZED SOME I DID NOT OR SOMEHOW FOUND OUT AFTER THE FACT...ONE SUCH MEMORY WAS OF TRUMAN CAPOTE...THAT VOICE OF HIS WAS SO FAMILIAR AND DISTINCTIVE...ALL I REMEMBER IS HE WAS WEARING A RAIN COAT LIKE TRENCH COAT STYLE SO IT MUST HAVE BEEN A RAINY DAY. HE WAS ASKING ME LOTS OF PERSONAL QUESTIONS AND I WAS ANSWERING THEM. HE SAID I SHOULDN'T DO THAT. I REPLIED I HAD NOTHING TO HIDE...I MENTIONED THAT TO SOMEONE ON FACEBOOK AND SHE SAID IT WAS AN INTERESTING COMMENT HE MADE BECAUSE HE LOST A LOT OF FRIENDS CUZ HE USED TO THREATEN THEM WITH A TELL ALL BOOK....I FIND THAT FASCINATING. I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THAT...ANYWAY THE NOTHING TO HIDE THOUGHT PROMPTED THIS POEM. EVERYBODY MUST HAVE SOMETHING THEY FEEL THE NEED TO HIDE...MAYBE SOMETIMES THEY EVEN HIDE IT FROM THEMSELVES...
