IRREFUTABLE

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

birthday love
you, my world
I celebrate
painted points of light
in my sky, your heart
to me demonstrates
rain drops in July
splashing my thankful
upturned face
moisture, you've become
to my dry life
my own personal meteor
from outer space
joy as to the wind
a flower's petal you trace
unhurried through shadows
our foot prints must make
cohesion echoes back
'Irrefutable'
the outsiders may negatively judge
but all their traps we shall side step
so subtly
for they can see never into
the purity and rightness of what our
two hearts feel
so smile forever my love as you gaze
into my eyes
for all your birthdays now
will happily merge with mine
and our jubilation at such notion
is the unicorn upon which
we together shall forever fly....

Author's Notes/Comments:

was in the mood to be romantic......... this poem filled that void.
