'A Journey In Love'
I recently read that subtitle
and it whispered back to me
of the disadvantages of distance
want is a lonely desire
a pauper on a mission
but with little support
the journey is stinted
the wish augmented
I appreciate
want's steadfast attempt
I am an intimate relative
to its cousin lament
and every other moment
we share that discomforted seat
on that lonely train
we wait
we plan
we day dream
and when the nightmare of
living apart is over
we will disembark from that
nowhere train
and set up house in
that town of love's sweet refuge
aptly enough named
Togetherness...........
