all we do as a people
is attempt to make choices
that we can live with
Fat Man and Little Boy
are harsh demonstrations of this
weighing the greater good
against the worse scenario
for a select collective
the world was a different place
the threat to it's stability real
the Bible says evil is
for good men to stand by and do nothing
and Bosnia again was another perfect
example of this
some would argue you can't justify
killing
but in certain cases
the long term merit exceeds the excess
I am for the way of peace
but being a man is very similar to that
cause sometimes when you are a man
you have to fight
some do not respond to the olive branch
they will only come to reason via the whip
they continue the brutal fight
and must be stopped from hurting more
needlessly
with devastating force and consequences
history will shed many opinions in her wake
though I believe God will judge each individual
fairly
for he knows whether the greater good
was in each man's view as each dire circumstance
unfolded
or if with bloodless intent each action was indeed
taken
each must decide to the best of his ability
for the most part limited and ever walking in darkness
while sojourning upon this battled earth.............
