whether it's
'Glass Mimicry Shattered'
or stale clemency scattered
into the mouths of hounds
the white Zinfandel moment
draws comments
a dizzying relocation
of hearts blending
in harmonious distinction
so beautiful have become
the sketches
we have commissioned
in each others honor
yet
through tragic circumstances
interruption
the scaffolding to the frame
of this subtle induction
is at best
intermittent
and so
in all the beauty
of our hope's grandest visions
for more moments yet
numbered in time
we must
bind up our lonely hearts
and wait
while
in the shadows of my too human
eyes
the sadness does linger
but by God's very own direction
I can stand in faith
confident
in the fast unfolding events
that
you are
even more
certainly
mine.......................
