so many fires
you light for me
as you tenaciously
ignore
the all too obvious
flame seekers
openly seeking you out
you are a jewel
with the disposition of a
lovely beast
yet
so very precious are
even your claws to me
for you caress me with
hands that could easily
break any other man in half
but with me
you are the soul of tenderness
itself
welcoming me
to even pommel you
as at me, you joyously laugh
body guards exist
so to protect
such proposed valuable bodies
I should suppose
as safe as you make me feel
you secure the very sanctity of
my soul
with the honor, strength and eternal
preservation of your deepest most
profoundly felt love for me
at those deep, deep levels that truly
matter
no fear in me nor little girl that cowers
behind this tough woman exterior
can argue that for anything other
than what it truly is
which is fact
so I must accurately yet humbly
rename you
so to fit to me
what you truly are
my eternal love
