THE SCENIC ROAD TO WISDOM

a chamber of mystery
awaits my mind's most
curious eye
dare I make an introduction
or let the moment slip
silently by
a forward woman is often
misunderstood
forcefulness is not always
a welcome attribute
poetic men can be
quite fragile creatures
quite particular in their
words of choice
perhaps I am merely
sword fighting with fate
youth and bedazzlement
are not assertive indicators
of anything concrete
yet then again what is
this is but an exercise in
restraint
a mile marker noted
on
'The Scenic Road To Wisdom'
thus so
I think I'll take the detour
wish me luck fair reader....................
