BULKY FROWN

Folder:
JOURNAL #6

all of my life

well for as long as I am permitted to be around

I'll always remember you standing there in the cold

and darkness with such a bleak and bulky frown

now I look back and can only guess with a certain

amount of fear

that of my emotional betrayal you have been bound

to hear

isn't it simply true how we hurt the ones so near and

dear

I can see my error now just like I did wrong by you

murderous memories don't always fade like we're told

but sharpen to the point of being pointedly clear

who was it that said, 'Death can seem so dear to he who

only has the guts to challenge his false cheer

so he won't seem so much the idiot he'd like not to

appear.......................
