courageous lives lost

humanity found

from such tragedy

burgeons

the finer threads of spirits

insurmountable odds

weaved with glorious bands of togetherness

this moment shall define

a turning point of true consciousness

seeping into every kind of American that there is

across this freedom loving nation

the transparent waves of tears

drown the hate in those who kill without care

each other

and now

our innocent and hard working citizens

a new National Holiday upon the latter 2002

mile stone's door

though we will never forget

we will as well

one day grow to forgive

then for the betterment of all human kind

we and the rest of the world will move on

much good will come of this

from these recent dark days endured

Forgive Them Lord

many so silently cry

for they know not what they do

one powerful sentence

represents

the corner stone

of tomorrow's peace

TO REBUILD THE INFRASTRUCTURE

OF AFGHANISTAN

IS TO REBUILD HOPE IN THE HEARTS OF

HER ENDLESSLY RAVAGED PEOPLE

while simultaneously building inner

security in post September 11nth America...........
