Immortal Diamonds
please know
that beyond the visual
there rests the true reality
a kindred voyage we share
a quixotic journey
fueled by flesh's desire
and ego's dare
this hazy monstrosity
purchased by the soul's want
to experience humanity
rocks we shall remain
for this phase called
a lifetime
asteroids of antiquity
7 billion plenty
'Tiniest Of The Tiny' pebbles
attached to an astronomically
larger boulder
spinning dizzily through space
it's closest companions
a life sustaining fire ball
and a pale shadow of itself
called strangely enough
the moon..............
