I think that dream
I had about my
Little cousin was
A warning I wasn’t
Smart enough to see.
When I think back on
It now it’s amazing
How god has his own
special way of speaking
To us in his own unique way
From anybody else.
How he makes us see
The things we hoped
We would never see
Coming to us and
Speaking to us in a
Way that we somehow
Think it’d probably
Be much easier to die
Then to listen to our
Conscious because
In our heart we
Know this isn’t
A path god wants
To see any of take
In our lives!
