If you want my love,

you need to understand how to gain it,

you need to learn how to keep it,

and just how to maintain it,

And if you want my love,

you can't nourish it with false hope

See i've been to the bottom and I know it well

Now nothing scares me

Cause' i've experienced hell.

And now i know that I can cope,

and my heart comes with it's ''do's'' and ''don'ts''

For the lovers, and the liars,

and the between blokes..

My patience was a tower,

Now it is a splintered rope.

And I don't waste time on minuet men,

Or the types who come to conquer,

I don't do cheap, easy or submissive,

And if this isn't respected

Then I'm not listenin'.
