You are miles away right now
And I can’t help but wonder how you are
I wish I didn’t have to
Send my love so very far.

Curiosity triggers my mind
I get so lost and confused
I want you to know I miss you
And your love is the last thing I’d want to lose.

Seeing your face so glum
Without that bright, shiny smile
Cuts deep into my heart
And makes me go that extra mile.

That extra mile it takes to do
Right like I have to
I can get my time over with fast
As long as my heart holds love for you.

So when you’re down and out
And things aren’t how they used to be.
Remember I’ll be home soon
So you can wrap your arms all around me . . .
