I'm here and I'm there
Back and forth like the wind, tugging
Mommy and Daddy I yell, STOP
Luring me into their insanity, capturing my soul as if I were raised in demonic hell, FIRE
Cold as the winter breeze yet both still do as they please
Mommy and Daddy I yell, just listen to ME
They hear no words I speak
Anger builds within me like the anger held within the slaves who weren't set FREE
What is Free?
Free, Freedom
Look at our Nation, we are no longer one
Look at me, I am no longer Free, NO longer ME
Taken away from myself to be everyone's little doll
To tug on, to break
Breakaway is what I'll do
Mommy and Daddy I yell, Thank You
Mhmmm now those words they care to move
Don't SPEAK like YOU made ME do
Listen to every word because I am WORTH to be heard
FREE is what I've chosen to be
Mommy and Daddy , I am FINALLY ME!
