were you struck by the void

do you regret your anger
do you still hold me to blame
you were my first yet i tell no one of you
you were my destiny,yet pride made me fall
even the darkness could not erase you
did you not find a resting place for your wings
did you not find a protector for your heart
does your mind take you back to the beginning
our first smile,out first kiss,our first moon
do you miss the comfort of our conversations
we were young but we understood loyalty
and in innocence we exchanged hearts
time,seasons years past yet we remained the same
i was the fool to break what was not mine
i was the fool to cast away true love
to this day i suffer,i pay for my mistakes
