Make my body shiver,

Being close to you

Makes my heart quiver.



I tried to hide my feelings

Thought you'd never know,

I had no idea

That I really let it show.



You see inside my heart

Deep inside my eyes,

I figured when you found out

You would cut all ties.



I am so glad that you didn't

I am glad that your my friend,

I am glad that loving you

Didn't bring us to an end.



I have such an attachment

Can't seem to let you go,

Glad I don't have to hide to you

Glad I can let it show.



We have an understanding

We agree on everything,

I know where we stand with things

I do respect the ring.



Doesn't make me want you less

Not sure I could want you anymore,

Guess I'll just continue to dream

Best friend I've ever had,

And when I have to leave from you
