The world was thrust into chaos

thanks to COVID-19

supposedly the deadliest virus

mankind has ever seen

It stole millions of souls

left families shattered to grieve

while conspirators in shadows

kept spinning lies we’re told to believe

But something far deadlier

is raging out of hand

the plague of violence and racism

still poisoning the land

Religious wars and entitlement

over borders, soil, and sand

the war machines keep rolling

devouring forests, meadows, and man

Corrupt shepherds in government

lead their political sheep

straight to the slaughterhouse gates

while war-pigs wallow in millions they keep

We’re pawns in their endless game

divided, fearful, and blind

as chaos tightens its grip

on the soul of humankind

Yet deep in the darkness

a whisper begins to rise

the people awaken together

and open their weary eyes
