Tidal wave



I just can’t keep it together

I don’t know what’s going on

I have no will, no time to breathe

And I really need

To be strong.



I just can’t keep my head focused

On one tiny little thing

Every thought I have gets caught and lost

Blows away with

The wind



There’s nothing to hold onto

Inside this mind of mine

I have no will, no I have no control

I have no fuel to fight.



I don’t know when life happened

A tidal wave is about to unfold.

Yesterday I was 5 years old

But now I’m growing old.



And I can’t keep it together.

I don’t know what’s going on.

I have no co-ordination

And now I need to be strong.
