I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does not triumph over me. In my integrity you uphold me and set me in Your presence forever. ~Psalm 41:11&12







One day I was depressed and feeling worthless, I prayed to God, "are You even pleased with me? Do I make you proud? I have done so many wrong things and made so many mistakes... how could you possibly be pleased with me? I am a failure... I believed the lies... and got myself into this mess. It seems like no one has ever been proud of me or pleased with me. For once I would just like to know that SOMEONE out there is pleased with me."

The next thing I knew, I was opening my bible to this psalm and read psalm 41:11. God was speaking to me. It's almost as if he were saying, "I know you've made mistakes, and the devil has tricked you time and time again into believing his dispicable lies, but he does not triumph over you. You are not defeated. You have the victory because I give it to you. I am pleased with you. I love you."



God is amazing.



Also another interesting fact... my name means "pleasant" in hebrew... ;~)

God has shown me.. I am pleasant to Him.
