lets us know we’re real
but when pain is overwhelming
and you feel yourself tumbling
spinning out of control
you can’t grab a hold
when your whole world
becomes a gaping black hole
your mind lets go of reality
you’ve reached your capacity
can you stay strong
or will you break down
let go and drown
just sink down
to the deepest black
a place from where you can’t get back
once you’ve let go
the reaper takes hold
shows you how
to end the pain
shows you how
to stop the rain
