I wish I may,

I wish I might,

Swim in that pool with you 

Every summer night.

Float on my back

with you up above

Yes, I know

that we are in love.

I may be here

And you may be there.

And what we have together

is oh so rare!

I think about leaving

Every single day,

But by night

Everything's all astray

I wish I may

I wish I might

figure this all out 

without a fight

I know people do this

Each and every day

But I cannot wrap my brain around it

in any kind of way.

Just when I think I have the courage

To tell him I'm all done

I think of Nico's future

And how it will affect him in the long run.

There are things that need to be done

before I can leave

I have so much stuff,

I can't even breathe

Find a Marigny house

of blight.

and create.
