Not my Sea Monkies!
When I was little
My Daddy worked, drank and read books.
He was a quiet man.
He drank Jim Beam and diet coke.
He had two libraries in our house.
He had a nice closet that I still remember.
It was big with a nice collection of ties.
He was a Dentist so he never did work much with power tools, nor did he get dirty.
He wasn't very handy around the house.
He would cut the grass with the riding mower And that's about all the work around the house I ever remember him doing.
He cooked on occasion, like crab stuffed mushrooms or stuffed artichokes.
He mainly sat in his oversized leather chair, listening to music records with a drink in his hand.
Jimmy Buffett, Neil Diamond, Janis Joplin, Carly Simon, Simon and Garfunkel, are a few that come to mind.
or lay in his bed reading book after book after book!
He once got drunk and drank my Sea Monkies!
He would get drunk and chase us around the house.
once he got drunk ran naked through the woods.
