Alone

Take the throne

Never awake never asleep

The gap ahead to far to leap

Wind dims the fire

Smothers the flame

Dreams expire

A face without a name

All hope is lost

Into the darkness and frost

The light is broken

Words unspoken

No escape

Desires lose shape

Melting away into the ground

Never again to be found

Broken glass just puzzle pieces

It has control and never releases

Reach for the stars

Just memories and scars

Cold as my heart

Reality and dream part

In the shadow of the sun

In the end i am the only one
