Lost in the dark
Searching for a spark
Through the astral plain into black
Thoughts stir demons attack
Emptiness covers the land
Forgotten memories dispand
Night and day one and the same
Words unspoken giving name
Cold and careless this empty space
Sinking to the bottom of this place
Buried and forgotten
Everything here is rotten
Time doesn't exist here
Everything is blurry and unclear
Waiting for the shadows to find
The lost souls left behind
Chasing dreams lost tomorrow
Distant light the dark will follow
Too cold inside for light to see
Too self conscious to let it be
Welcome to empty street
Can't see the pavement beneath my feet
The road suddenly comes to an end
Down into nothing i condescend
Illusions of dreams in disguise
Trapped in what fate will devise
On the inside scream and shout
Silence filling me with doubt
The flames within can never be put out
