At one point and time

You and me were like a rhyme

It was me for you

All the way through

You for me

The best friends that friends could be



Then one day

It didn’t go either way

I had him by my side

And yet not even you knew how I cried

You pushed me aside

And didn’t take me along for the ride



If friends we were supposed to be

Then why do I feel as though I am paying a fee

I opened everything to you

EVERYTHING so you knew

You looked past that

And now this is where we are at



I don’t feel like friends at all

Being next to I just want to put up a wall

We used to have so much more

And it’ll never be like before

This hurt goes beyond anything I’ve ever felt

Our “friendship” feels like a fresh frozen in time welt



I want to end it and forget everything

I want to cut every single string

For you to find a girl you really care for

Ignore me and drop me down like never before

I don’t even want to look at you

Because you are not the same Ray I knew
