Am I searching for love in all the wrong places?

Seeing all these sad faces,

I don't like the way this is going,

My life's not even changing.

I never felt this way before, open chest, heart on the floor,

What is wrong with this?

My heart lost the race,

Can't seem to face it,

that maybe I just don't belong here.

Can't seem to face it,

that maybe I need to stop pretending.



Time is something that can change me,

But my love for you won't.

And I can't control time,

So let's just do our part,

and maybe you'll come back someday.



But now maybe I think that,

You and me seem so right,

Yet it doesn't quite fit.

I'll let it rest for now,
