What I wouldn’t give
To have you want me
To have you need me

What I wouldn’t give
To have you love me
To have you proud of me

What I wouldn’t give
To hear you voice
Any of them just once

But I know you won’t

What I wouldn’t give
For you to believe that there’s
no one else who can love you like me

What I wouldn’t give
For you to tell me that no one
Could ever love me like you do

What I wouldn’t give
To hear you compliment me
Just once even if it’s a lie

But I know you won’t

What I wouldn’t give
To know what’s in your heart
In your mind and in your soul

What I wouldn’t give
For you to understand any of this or me
For you to know what I need

What I wouldn’t give
But I know you won’t
You never have and never will

But oh, what I wouldn’t give.
