Time is soulless
And it waits to consume
All that is meaningful
Like a child in a womb
Lifeless but living
Screaming words
That have no meanings

Time is an enemy
Sitting on the sideline
Waiting for us to foul
Painting shades of black
Counteracting our intentions
Waiting patiently for things to go good
Then it attacks
We react
Tho we are not in time
We are a victim of the ticks and the tocks
Seconds and minutes left in the blind
For only us to find

Time is a bitch
This you will find
Lets do ourselves a favor
And savor our counting behaviors
We only got seconds, minutes. hours
To get it right
