Lara Croft (Alicia Vikander) is the daughter of businessman Lord Richard Croft (Dominic West), who has disappeared without a trace 123Freemovies for seven years. In the meantime, Lara has grown up, has made nothing of the potential that her father gave her. As a bicycle courier, she delivers food and earns a little money, which is not enough for life.
She does not really know what she wants to do with her life. She does not want to take over her father's group, as she would have to sign his death certificate. With the help of drinking sailor Lu Ren (Daniel Wu) she finds a way to the Devil's Sea, where the island Yamatai is suspected. However, she is not alone on this island. Also Matthias Vogel (Walton Goggins) searches doggedly for the grave, which hides a huge power.

Tomb Raider entertains quite well thanks to a few thrilling action-set pieces and a powerful Alicia Vikander. The 2018 Lara Croft is vulnerable and inexperienced, but fierce and independent, which works great. However, Freemovies123blog Walton Goggins' rogue Matthias hardly has anything to do, and there is not enough real "Tomb Raiding". Since the predictable plot and the sometimes too blended action scenes fall even slightly more significant.
