Christmas Snowman (Short Story)

Short Stories

One night upon the midnight clear, there stood a snowman with candy cheer.  One day the sun comes out and melts away, not knowing what had just happened.  He looks up to the sky in wishing happiness, when all of a sudden from the distance, came a great man.  The Man asked, "What's wrong Mr. Snowman?"  The Snowman replied, "I melted away as you can see and I wanted to wish so that I could see Santa 1 day."  The man laughed and said to the snowman to keep on wishing because he won't get that wish while melted.  And walked away.

Later that day, kids woke up to see that their snowman disappeared.  They cried and laughed and soon again, they played in the snow.  All day long, they played in the snow until their mom yelled to come inside because it was time for bed.  Right before bedtime, 1 kid wished...  "I wish for, I wish right, I wish for a Christmas gift tonight".

Later that night, a bright light swamps into the childrens' room.  For they didn't notice what it was.  But the mother does wake up, to open the curtains and sees a big belly man.  She opens the door and asks, "Who are you?"  The man replies, "I am good 'ol St. Nick which I am here to bring a child wish come true."  Later that night, that man disappears right when the mother turns around to see that only there was, a bright white snowman.  The mom smiled and went back to bed.

The next morning, the kids got out of bed in joy, knowing that it was Christmas Day.  They rushed into their parent's bedroom to wake them up.  The parents got dragged downstairs while the kids were all happy and cheery.  But then they saw, that Santa didn't come because there was no gifts under the Christmas tree.  The father told them that he didn't know, but the mother did tell the kids to look outside.  The kids rushed outside to see a jolly white snowman filled with joy.  He was filled with candy all over.  The buttons were mints, the mouth was Licorsie, while the nose was filled chocolate.  And the snowman was full of marshmellow.

As you can see, this weekend coming up is a day of celebration & a day of giving.  Just remember, we all don't get to have what we wish for (PDAs, Cell Phones, "toys", Game boy, Plasma TVs), but we can get what our love desires.  So I hope you have a Safe & Wonderful Holiday with your family & friends; or where ever you will be.
Happy Holidays.
