Forgiving is such a simple thing,

But I still haven't mastered it,

And every time I look at you,

It's anger hat flares up,

And all the pain renewed,

And your laughter feels real cold,

Like you don't even care,

And if there was regret,

For all you did to me,

It would be easy,

But you forgot and turned away,

And left me with the pain to face,

I'm Scarred.

It's hard to trust or change,

Every time I try you come to mind.

I don't want to make,

The same mistake.
