I've never been jealous in Cinderella's wake
Perhaps once or twice
But not in too much vain
Although perfection is nice
And love oh so sweet
I'm happy here
And happy with me
Sometimes I do wish
To have untainted beauty
But then what is there to love
And where goes all my flaws
An apple's bite
I doubt would bring all my wrongs right
And a glass slipper just wouldn't fit
My friends are all tall
and not quite twelve
So there goes my chance at fame
That's alright though
My chance has already had its claim
My naps are no longer than an hour at most
So, what I'm no princess
But who really is
Stories are nice
And so is pretend
But in all truth be told
I prefer
Reality in the end
