We still hate what’s there
For everyone to see
We hate the life we live
We hate the way we feel
We hate the pain
That’s inside of us
That makes it hard
For our hearts to heal
We hate ourselves for all
That bad thing’s we’ve done
We hate that ourselves because
We couldn’t be that perfect person
For that special someone
When we look into the mirror
We see all these scars
Stare back at us
Like a ghost from our past
Wondering what we did
To make the love not last
I hate the reflection that i see
I wish it didn’t belong to me
Is that the way you feel too
Do you feel exactly like i do
When you look into the mirror
What kind of person do you see
Do you see someone
That hates themseves
As much as i hate me
When i look into the mirror
I see all this hate
Staring back at me
So when you look into the mirror
Do you understand what it is i see
