Looking into the mirror

Seeing only me

Nothing but my own reflection

For all of you to see

Seeing all the mistakes I've made

And all the pain I've caused

Has really made me realize

What it is I've lost



Pausing for a moment

Now what do you see

All these horrible scars

Are now staring back at me



Trying to make everything right again

But it's just no use

You really don't seem to want to forgive me

For all that I have said and done

But what happens when it's much too late

For your apology to come
