When you look at me I wonder what you see
Do you see your own flesh and blood?
Or some pathetic girl you happen to be related to?
I know you can't understand what I'm going through
But you could at least be more sympathetic
Show me that you care about me, even just a little
Please let me know I mean something to you
Instead of standing in the doorway watching in silence
As I slowly die inside with this black cloud of loneliness
Hurting myself on the outside but you cant, wont stop me
I'm still scarred by all the hurt you've ever caused me
Just try to care and act like you're my dad
Not just some man with no idea who I am
But I beg you, please help me, before it's too late
