There were pages from The Universe of Us lingering in my mind

the two of us, building trust over time

betweenn two minds

reclaiming a love for all the precious first times.

Our soul light illuminating

two hearts forming a new rhyme as I think of

a love that's just mine.

We grew through the spring 

blooming with humor

as our hearts sing-

songs of summer brought us something new

as our hearts sang the same tune in the month of June.

Just us two perservering through July

where we watched the tides, releasing burdens of my heart-

you were the shoulder I could cry on

and on and on autumn brought a new season

all along the same path, holding hands in unison

in love, in a state I've never dreamed of 

but now it's me and you.

My hearts no longer black and blue

as this love brings me something new-

healing from all I've been through.

"Us" just two-

lovers ready to discover

the purpose of life.

Together we will have a break through-

this universe that collided

two souls to start something new.

In this universe I'm thankful for you.
