Society Why does our government
not follow in the footsteps
of our founding fathers?
Why has the path forged
since the foundation
of this great country
been erased through the years?
Many men sacrificed their lives
for the promise of life, liberty,
and the pursuit of happiness.
But all I see death,
oppression and melancholy.
The new generation must fight
to restore America
to its previous glory.
In the name of democracy,
we must unite in the cause
of the freedom of people
enslaved by the power hungry.
We need to beckon a new world
where people keep promises,
where progress garners us
a more civilized society.
