She’s a blossom unopened;
her petals stay sealed closed
because she doesn’t think
the world wants to see her bloom.

But inside she’s withering,
waiting for the right moment
to show off her budding flower
but losing confidence.

But the day when the sun calls her
and she finally opens up,
all her beauty will be displayed
leaving the world in awe.

She just doesn’t know
how breathtaking she is
on the inside.
