I know you’ve become numb

to pain and also to love.



When a person has seen

the things that you have,

it’s impossible not to

let it make you indifferent.



But I know you’re different

than all the others;

and in this truth I confide

because I want to be with you.



I don’t want to be without you.



We can save each other;

I just know it.
