to walk on the water,
my feet upon the open sea.
The oceans rose,
but I keep my sight
above the waves.
Though these deep waters
tried to drown me,
my eyes stayed on you.
You pulled me back
into the boat
when the winds picked up.
You steered me
through the storm
of my wondering heart.
If this be the course
guide my sails
where you would have me go.
