That Dark Moment....

A cloud falls over the whole world, one act

Of the twenty-first century that unites humanity-

Factionalism, hatred, clashing interests.......

Maladjusted enemies of the human republic

Kill all dreams of kinship.

The world`s tower in conflagration, life vapourized,

Melting iron, all turned ash by evil hands.

I have unfathomable love for friend and foe.

On this dark moment, the destiny of the world`s written:

Track out all forms of barbarism!

Take away the poison from the grain!

Human sanctity with all its values

Must not be sacrificed to the devil.

There is no such thing as holy war if the holy writ

Is desecrated by untamed hatred, bloodshed, revenge....

Blood that has flowed cannot be redeemed.

Tears have been shed, they soon dried up.

We must build bridges across the seas.

Let us not go to war, let us show love to our ennemies.

Let us go home and make love

On the soft bed of dialogue.

We shall conceive a strong soul of solidarity.
