The rabbit and the red bird

A rabbit was bouncing happy by the forest looking for what would be his snack that afternoon. The rabbit was known by most of the animals of the forest, but almost nobody talks to him when he made his daily walk looking for food. Many animals think that he was an not grateful and selfish rabbit.

One day, at the same time as always, he was jumping through the grass, when suddenly fell in a hole that had been created as a trap for animals. The hole was very deep, so the rabbit by more than trying to jump, could not get out of there without help.

He began to shout

-"Someone help me!"-

But the other animals just walk around the hole avoiding contact with the sad animal trapped.

-"Hey you, ugly monkey, help me get out"-

-"Big eared elephant, give me your dirty trunk to raise me"-

-"Useless deer, approach and look for help"-.

To any animal that was passing near, he screamed offending, so nobody came to help for his bad attitude and his unnecessary offense.

After a while, the rabbit saw in the sky a red bird flying and he shouted

-"You, bird! Help me to get out of here"-.

The small bird heard the cry for help and without knowing the rabbit, he approached the hole

-"You're okay?"- asked him.

-"Yes, but just get me out of here"-

The bird kindly offered his help and devised a strategy to get the rabbit out of there.

-"Hold me strong, I don’t want you to drop me"- said the rabbit.

The red bird was small and had a problem on its wings. He disliked listen to the rabbit imposing orders and having a bad attitude, however, he thought that help someone was better, that’s what he learned on his family. The animal left to one side his imperfection and decided to always assist who needs help.

The bird hold the rabbit with his feet and began to rise of the deep and dark hole. The rabbit in mocking tone said

-"Weak bird, hurry up and move those ugly and deformed wings"-.

The bird discontent to hear that, began to descend from his flight and released the rabbit back to the depths of the hole telling him

-"When you learn to be grateful, you can exit"- and continued with his flight out of the hole.

Moral. Who offends the others, remains alone forever, because whoever makes a mockery of the defects of the people, leaves on discovered their mental defects.
