Valentine’s Day 2013

Although our relationship is at its worst
Through all the pain and through all the hurt
Traveling along this downward slope
God tells my heart to never lose hope

To me I have done all I could do
Just not enough that we would pull through
I have said everything that I possibly can
But it has not stopped the inevitable end

I am left with no option but continually pray
As the love of my life, my wife slips away
And although I know you’re no longer mine
In my heart and soul you’ll always be my valentine

I am deeply in love with you and I couldn’t resist
So I went and found you a love filled gift
It is not much if measured by its size
But if worn on your wrist, His love will reside
