How was the beginning?

Planet Earth, our planet, was created due to a gigantic explosión named “The Big Bang”. The big explosion stated how the earth was going to be, the day, the night, the proportion of sea and land. Then two gods appeared, Axolotl and Nexilotl. Those gods created every single living thing on earth; birds, lions, dogs, elephants and humans. At first they stated that all the animal kingdom should be the same size to avoid conflicts among us and it was upon us to decide where we wanted to live. Fishes, sharks, whales and dolphins went to the sea. Lions, zebras, hyenas went to the Savannah. Bears, rabbits, some birds went to the forests. And humans decided to separate themselves in different lands.
One day god Nexilotl make a competition. In this competition they were going to decide which animal was going to be the largest and which one will get small for the rest of their lives. All the animal kingdom was in a hurry, elephants started studying since they were really good with their memories, lions started practicing hunting to other animals, sea creatures started to practice their swimming. Everybody was preparing for this event without knowing what it was going to be. The only ones that didn't prepare themselves were the bugs, which were very lazy for this and very confident because they were already large. When the time of the competition arrived, everybody except from the bugs was ready in their opportunity area. Nexilotl was about to announce the hardest challenge that he could image that was only somehow easy for sea creatures. He had an obvious preference with sea animals so he planned to announce that the challenge was going to be some swimming races in very perilous waters. Instead of that being the challenge, Axolotl intervened and, since she was a fairer god, decided to make a different challenge for each animal.
Everybody was ready for it and everybody succeeded on his or her challenge except for the bugs, which were so confident and lazy that didn´t even, took the daring betting that everybody was going to fail. In consequence of this, all the bugs that were big became the smallest animals on earth. Every other animal stayed at their same size and that was the reason why dragonflies and other insects that were big in the past became very small. And that´s how peace was created among the different types of animals, being the bugs the less caring ones in the kingdom.
