Sleep tonight

And may your dreams

Be realized

And the grey storm clouds

Will pass rain

So let it rain

On our green Earth



In the morning time

We will see

Bright and green

A world refreshed

For the cold dark storm

That frightens so

Will pass away

Pass far from you



So, sleep

And please just know

I will not go

The booming thunder

Can't hurt you here

For I am here

Protecting you



The lightening flash

Illuminates

Your frightened face

Your tear stained cheeks

And the thunder rolls

Makes you cringe

Make you shiver

Don't fear, my dear
