Treasure in the Darkness

He sits alone in the Silence

Surrounded by the Voices in his Head

A heart so Cold and Broken

Lost in Darkness feeling Dead

She’s on her Knees in the Darkness

She’s beat down broken and Abused

Her soul so Lost and Confused

She Cries out Lord “please save my soul”

She needs a Treasure in the Darkness

A secret place to hide

A Refuge from the Madness

The one who will never leave her side. 

He drops to his Knees in the Darkness

And cries out “Lord please Save my Soul

This life of madness I’ve been living 

I don’t want to live it anymore.

They feel Peace, Comfort Love and Forgiveness

Engulfing that Void in their Soul
