I listed all the things in the world:
A dervish whirl,
A handsome girl,
A Cadbury's Twirl;
I listed all the things in space:
Sputnik waste,
The moon's dark face,
The furthest, farthest far-off place;
I listed all the things in the soil:
My nanny's bones,
A false plastic hand,
All the toil of all in the land;
I listed all the things in the past:
Smoked the grass,
Ten trillion rats,
All of the many misplaced winter hats;
I listed all the things in the future,
But I'm never too sure,
If things are secure,
With the global rising temperature...
I listed all the things I want,
And apart from a jaunt,
To my local haunt,
With a pint in hand, I'd want for naught.
I listed all the lists I've made,
And the list I made,
I'll take to my grave,
With all my belongings.
