I hold my heart and let it go to fly away and find it’s home - now it resides in you I hope it serves you well - it was always strong - now it weeps it’s bloody tears of elation - for it’s found the key to unlock it’s meaning - I hope it serves you well - it only beat for you from the start anyway - I hear it’s happiness with every beat it sings to me caged in my chest - and this new heart in mine is at it’s best - I know it was yours - a fair trade we make - it’s rhythm I endure - with a smile on my face - does this mean we are one - our lives have intertwined - I feel the war is won - and peace is mine within your eyes.
