Our first kiss ended so very tragic,
The nights the roads were paved with icy hell.
No one knowing how our love lost magic,
Taking myself curling up in my shell.
Dreams of yesterday seem to fill my night,
Visions of you coming through our front door,
Seeing your smile and it seeming so bright,
Now seems to fade into old Irish lore.
Walking out the door that morning dreary,
Who knew we would share our last goodbye kiss.
Memories fading, making me weary,
Fading with you would have been such a bliss.
Emotions overboard, they are so deep,
Eternal sorrow in unending sleep.
